The “Virtual Dementia Home Series” is a collaborative project between Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), School of Health Sciences (Nursing), and the Alzheimer’s Disease Association (ADA), Singapore. It is funded by the Centre for Enabled Living through the Sustainable Enhancements for Eldercare and Disability Services (S.E.E.D.) Fund and the TOTE Board SIR Fund. How does e-learning help?

The Virtual Dementia Home Series is a locally developed interactive multimedia package which simulates a dementia- and wheelchair-friendly therapeutic environment in a Housing Development Board (HDB) flat in Singapore. This comes complete with a bathroom-toilet, living room, bedroom and kitchen. It is available in four languages - English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil.
